CIWA works with over 150 business partners each and every year, and these partners make a significant impact in our community – by volunteering their time, their knowledge and insights, their space, or offering employment to newcomers in Calgary.
For the month of March, we would like to sincerely thank Brentwood Childcare Centre. Brentwood Childcare Centre offers safe and secure childcare services for children from the age of 12 months to 5 years. The philosophy of Brentwood Childcare Centre is to create a place where children, can play, explore, learn and grow – physically, socially, mentally, morally, academically and culturally. The goal of the Centre is to provide a childcare program that offers children a healthy, safe, loving environment to enhance each child’s unique spirit and strength of character. All the staff members are highly qualified, caring individuals who enjoy children and are dedicated early childhood professionals.
Brentwood Childcare Centre started working with CIWA since their opening in 2016, and the Centre’s management had been a partner of CIWA since 2012 through other locations. They have provided practicum placements and employment opportunities, while volunteering their time in mock-interviews and as guest speakers. To date, they have assisted more than 20 CIWA clients and have employed 12 CIWA graduates.
