CIWA works with over 150 business partners each and every year, and these partners make a significant impact in our community – by volunteering their time, their knowledge and insights, their space, or offering employment to newcomers in Calgary.
For the month of August, we would like to sincerely thank Agape Language Centre for their partnership. Agape Language Centre has been providing a welcoming learning environment for the participants of CIWA’s New Friends and Neighbourhood Groups program.
Serving the North West community, Agape Language Centre has been offering adult English as a Second Language (ESL) and Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) programming since 1997. Classes range from fundamentals to advanced levels that support newcomers through all aspects of the English language. Agape Language Centre is passionate about helping English as a foreign language learners to master one of the official languages of Canada.
Agape Language Centre has been working with CIWA since 2010, providing learning space for our New Friends and Neighbourhood Groups. Through this partnership, we are able to serve clients weekly. Agape Language Centre has provided CIWA over 5,000 hours of allocated time for service delivery.
