Home Visitation Program

Program Description

The Home Visitation Program is a free, targeted service that supports parents and caregivers of children under six. Through regular, strength-based home visits, the program helps families build strong parenting skills, deepen their understanding of child development, strengthen resilience, and stay connected to community resources and supports.

• Weekly home visitation for parents of children 0- 6 years of age
• Based on the evidence-based Nurturing Parenting Program Curriculum
• First-language and culturally sensitive support, tailored to meet family needs
• Guidance on parenting skills and support for postpartum challenges
• Assistance in accessing health, nutrition, and community resources

Eligible Clients

This program is open to all parents and caregivers who:
• Have children between 0 and 6 years old, and
• Live in Calgary (all families are welcome, regardless of immigration status)
