Jennifer McFadyen

Jennifer McFadyen is currently the Senior Vice President, Human Resources for AltaLink, Alberta’s largest regulated electricity transmission provider.
Prior to joining AltaLink, Jennifer was the Vice President, Sustainability and Stakeholder Relations and Vice President, Human Resources for a North American energy infrastructure company. She brings over 25 years of experience in human resources and external affairs in energy, utilities, manufacturing and consulting.
In her current role, Jennifer is responsible for creating a healthy organization that will enable AltaLink’s future success. Under her leadership, the HR team proactively identifies people challenges and anticipates organizational needs to establish an HR strategy that supports achievement of business goals and priorities that are aligned with business and regulatory requirements. Overlaying all of that is a passion for continuous improvement to create a performance-driven culture and best in class employee experience.
Jennifer lives in Calgary and enjoys time with her family, travelling to new places and being outside as much as possible.
