Dani Grover
Danielle has 20 years of legal experience with a focus on securities law and corporate governance and is currently teaching at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law.
Danielle is called to the Bar in Alberta and served as a securities law associate of a Canadian national law firm and a Canadian law firm in London, England, where she was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales. Danielle has extensive experience in the Canadian capital markets, through her various legal positions at equity and derivatives exchanges in Canada and with a provincial securities regulator. Danielle also worked as governance counsel to a Calgary-based power company, where she served as an officer of the company and led all corporate governance functions.
While Danielle was born and raised in Calgary, her father immigrated from India to Calgary in the 1960s. As a second-generation Canadian, Danielle is forever grateful for the support and guidance her father received upon immigrating and adjusting to a new life in Calgary. Her involvement in CIWA is one of the ways she gives back to the community.
