Early Childhood Educator Employment Training – Level 3

Program Description

This online training prepares you to successfully complete the Early Childhood Education and Development Diploma and earn your Level 3 ECE Diploma through the Ministry of Children’s Services. The training is available for immigrant women across Alberta and is delivered online by Bow Valley College through CIWA.

Program Details

• 14-month part-time training with 352 hours of practicum
• Customized support by CIWA through study groups and one-on-one tutoring 
• English language and employability skills enhancement

Eligible Clients

• Immigrant women who are permanent residents and Canadian citizens
• Over 18 years old and able to work in Alberta
• Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) 7 or higher 
• Post-secondary education
• Currently working as an Early Childhood Educator Level 2

Additional Program Information

• Level 3 Early Childhood Educator (Diploma)
• Follow-up support after program completion
• Referrals to other CIWA programs help participant’s access additional support services
