Employment Integration and Advancement Project
Program Description
This project helps immigrant women in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the Northwest Territories unlock new opportunities, build meaningful careers, and thrive in the Canadian labor market.
Program Details
Project offers free:
- Individual Employment Counseling
- Resume Writing & Mock Interview Sessions
- Employment Workshops including topics in customer service, communication skills, workplace etiquette and more
- Computer training including topics in Computer Basics, Digital Marketing & Social-Media Management, MS Office Suite, Graphic Design, Cloud Services, Cloud Storage and Cybersecurity, MS Dynamics, Salesforce and Power BI.
- Certifications in First Aid, WHMIS & ProServe (Alberta clients only)
Open to Immigrant Women who:
- Live in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, or the Northwest Territories
- Have permanent residency, refugee, work permit status, MOME2023 status, are CUAET or Naturalized Canadian citizens
- Meet a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level of 4 or above in Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing
