Raisa Chowdhury is an accomplished professional with experience in technology, business strategy, consulting, and data ethics.
Currently, Raisa works as a Data & Trust Manager at TELUS, where she supports both data ethics and AI governance efforts, helping to evaluate the potential impact on people and society when collecting, using, and sharing data. Her previous experience includes serving as TELUS’ AI Strategy Prime, where she defined and oversaw all AI initiatives within her business unit, and as a Consultant at IBM Canada’s Enterprise Strategy practice, supporting clients through their digital transformations.
Raisa immigrated to Canada with her family in 2001 and has proudly made Canada her home, largely due to the support of immigrant services like those CIWA provides.
