Hospitality Training Program for Immigrant Women
Program Description
Delivered in collaboration with SAIT, this free 12-week full-time program supports immigrant women in building the skills, confidence, and experience needed to succeed in the hospitality and tourism industry in Canada. The program offers three intakes each year, in February, June, and September. With classes held Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Eligibility Clients
- Immigrant women who are permanent residents or Convention refugees
- Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 6 or higher
- Must not have previous Canadian academic
- Unemployed, underemployed women (not
receiving EI benefits) - Participants who can commit to a full-time, in-person program for 3 months

Additional Program Information
- Clients are trained to work in the hospitality and tourism industry related to event coordination and management (food and beverage, restaurant etc.)

- Referrals to additional CIWA programs and community resources.
