New Friends and Neighbourhood Groups
Program Description
The program offers a safe and supportive environment for immigrant women to practice and improve their English conversation skills, form meaningful relationships, learn about resources available to them, and share experiences with other immigrant women.

Eligible Clients
This program is available to any immigrant or refugee woman (Visitor, Permanent Resident, Citizen, Work Permit holders and Refugee)
Additional Program Information
- Groups are offered both in person, and online via Zoom.
- Participants can join more than one group.
- Groups are drop-in, participants do not need to register in advance. (Registration is done at the meeting)
- Online groups are offered year-round. In-person groups are offered from September to June (there are no in-person groups in July and August).
