Family Services
Family Services provide support for parents and families adjusting to a new culture and life in a new country. Immigrant parents, youth and seniors have access to parenting related information and support, afterschool based programing, leadership opportunities and individual counselling support.

After School Homework Help for Immigrant Girls
After School Homework Help for Immigrant Girls is a program that supports the academic success of low income immigrant girls in high school.
Civic Engagement for Immigrant Women Program
The program helps immigrant women and girls achieve full and equal civic participation in Canada.
Cross Cultural Parenting Program
The program helps immigrant parents cope with parenting challenges in a new country and culture.
Family Conflict Prevention Program
The program provides professional, culturally-sensitive counselling for immigrant women and their families who are experiencing transition challenges, relationship problems, abuse and trauma.
Family Resource Network - Immigrant/Newcomer (non-geographic)
The Family Resource Network (FRN) is an inclusive and accessible family-focused, child and youth-centered, community-based center that offers a full continuum of prevention and early intervention services focused on supporting the wellbeing of families with children and youth aged 0 – 18 years.
Grandma's Kitchen
This project assists the isolated senior immigrant women to enhance their ability to effectively communicate and contribute their skills to the communities they live in. The group focuses on self esteem, healthy living, living and adapting to life in Canada. Through this group, senior immigrant women are able to make new friends, study English, learn multicultural recipes and share ideas and concerns.
In-Home Support Program
The In-Home Support Program assists immigrant and refugee families in Calgary with children between 0 and 17 years of age to overcome issues around family violence, parenting, etc.
One-on-One Counselling for Immigrant Women
The program provides immigrant women (including seniors and youth) with the opportunity to become involved in the community and develop a sense of belonging.
Pathways to Success
The project serves immigrant girls between the ages of 14 and 21 as mentees to enhance their career readiness through a yearlong career focused mentorship. The mentees are paired with mentors who have similar career/education interest and can relate to the challenges mentees face when settling in a new country and adjusting to a new culture.
Supports for Immigrants and Refugees with Mental Health and Addiction Issues: A culturally sensitive approach
Supports for Immigrants and Refugees with Mental Health and Addiction Issues project ensures that immigrants and newcomers are able to identify and seek support for addiction issues impacting their lives and build their resilience. The project enables them to feel safe and empowered to enhance their and their family’s well-being. Through this project, immigrants dealing with these issues will be able to reclaim their self-esteem and confidence to be in control of their lives and become positive role models for their children.
Victim Supports Outreach Program
Victims’ Supports Outreach Program for Immigrant Children, Youth and Families Affected by Family Violence (VSO) provides outreach support services for immigrant children, youth and families experiencing family violence.
