Alishah Janmohamed

Alishah is currently the President and CEO of Mitigate360 Risk Solutions Inc., a consulting company focused on risk assessment and mitigation, fraud prevention, corporate governance and crisis management. She is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner with over 20 years of experience in internal investigations and auditing and has led internal audit departments in the Oil and Gas and Utilities sectors. Alishah is a recent graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) Program. Alishah is passionate about creating cohesive teams that focus on organizational efficiencies and effectiveness.

Alishah has extensive experience in serving on boards of not-for-profit organizations. She is the past President of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners- Calgary Chapter. She is currently an advisor to the same board. She has also served as a finance board member for the Grants and Review Board for the Prairies. She is currently serving as a member on CIWA’s Governance Committee.

In 1996, Alishah immigrated from Tanzania and made Calgary her home. She has been actively involved in mentoring immigrant women and young children in her community. In her free time, Alishah loves to travel, read and volunteer teaching young children about ethics and civilizations
