Peer-to-Peer Support for Senior Immigrants

 Program Description

The program offers activities in small groups to help seniors (men and women), who are immigrants, ages 55+, engage in the community and connect with their peers in order to create an inclusive social network based on common interests and increase confidence, mental and physical wellbeing.

  • Opportunities to build new friendships and connect with other immigrant seniors in-person
  • Activities to help enhance mental and physical wellbeing
  • Engagements with the community
  • Groups are available in different languages

Eligible Clients

Services are available to male and female immigrants who are 55+, Canadian citizens, permanent residents, refugees and CUAET.

Additional Program Information

  • Groups available in first languages are: Mandarin, Spanish, Farsi, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu.
