This hospitality course is a 12-week full-time program helps immigrant women develop and enhance their employability skills in the hospitality and tourism industry.
The course is delivered in collaboration with Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).
Get a job in a hotel, casino, or in the travel and tourism industry
The course will build your skills to help you get a job in a hotel as a Concierge, Front Desk Agent, or in Event planning as an Event coordinator, in Hospitality management or a Casino. You will also learn about Food and Beverage, Entertainment and Recreation, Marketing and Basic Bookkeeping.
This course offers:
- 12 weeks of integrated occupational, English language and essential skills training
- 4 weeks of work experience placement
- Customized training in partnership with SAIT
- Computer skill enhancement and employment counselling
- Job placement and retention support

Who is eligible for this course?
- Unemployed or underemployed immigrant women 18 years of age or older
- Permanent residents, refugees and Canadian citizens
- Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) 6+
