The Pathways to Success program serves immigrant girls between the ages of 14 and 21 to enhance their career readiness through a yearlong career-focused mentorship. The youth are paired with mentors who have similar career/education interest and can relate to the challenges mentees face when settling in a new country and adjusting to a new culture.
The program offers – training for the mentors, field trips to job fairs, educational institutions and community resources, one-on-one consultation with mentors, interactive employment and career-focused group workshops and 20-hour job shadow experience for the mentees. It builds leadership and enhances public speaking skills.
