Pre-Employment and Skills Development Support for Racialized Immigrant Women

Program Description

This project will deliver customized training models designed to increase the employability of racialized immigrant women who have experienced prolonged detachment from the workplace. It focuses on developing skills needed for sales and service occupations

Program Details

Clients will receive:

• • 8 weeks of in-class training
  • 4 weeks of work placement  
  • Employment support and counseling
  • Living allowance
  • Reimbursement for childcare
  • Transportation allowance

Eligible Clients

Unemployed racialized immigrant women

Intake dates:

• October 3, 2022 – December 23, 2022
• February 6, 2023 – April 28, 2023
• June 5, 2023 – August 25, 2023
