DESCRIPTION:The Pathways to Success program serves immigrant girls between the ages of 14 and 21 to enhance their career readiness through a yearlong career-focused mentorship. The youth are paired with mentors who have similar career/education interest and can relate to the challenges mentees face when settling in a new country and adjusting to a new culture. \nThe program offers – training for the mentors\, field trips to job fairs\, educational institutions and community resources\, one-on-one consultation with mentors\, interactive employment and career-focused group workshops and 20-hour job shadow experience for the mentees. It builds leadership and enhances public speaking skills.
