Lori Craig was born and raised in Calgary. Her grandparents were immigrants from Scotland and England and they knew the challenges of coming to Alberta in the early 1900’s with large families and limited resources.
Lori is a certified Canadian Human Resources Practitioner (CHRP) with more than 25 years of Human Resources / Organizational Effectiveness / Training and Development experience with a passionate focus on personal, interpersonal and organizational effectiveness.
Currently, Lori is an independent Human Resources Consultant, developing an Indigenous Human Resources Professional Certification Program and supporting First Nations communities in capacity building. She is also a volunteer leader with Xperitas, taking small groups of volunteers to Indigenous communities around the world so that we can all become great global citizens.
Lori has been recognized as a key contributor on the senior management team of an Alberta First Nations Administration, an international telecommunications organization and has served as a Police Officer in the Calgary Police Service. She has experienced more than 45 countries in her passion for travel and cultural appreciation.
